We are pleased to announce that Peter Aceto has been appointed President, Ontario & Atlantic Canada at MacKay CEO Forums, effective June 1.
Peter brings a distinguished track record of leadership, transformation, and growth. As former CEO of ING Direct Canada and Tangerine Bank, he led one of Canada’s most recognized challenger banking brands through significant expansion, redefining customer experience and building a high-performance culture at scale.
Since joining MacKay CEO Forums as a Forum Chair, Peter has been deeply engaged in our community, leading both a CEO Forum and a Large Enterprise Forum in Toronto and serving as a Strategic Advisor. His work with CEOs across industries has reinforced what we see across Canada: leaders are looking for trusted peer environments that provide clarity, accountability, and perspective in increasingly complex operating conditions.
In his role, Peter will work closely with Forum Chairs and Partners across Ontario and Atlantic Canada to:
- Growth and strengthen our Forum groups
- Support Chairs in delivering exceptional member experiences
- Expand MacKay’s presence and impact with CEOs and senior executives
- Strengthen our national representation in key markets
- Deepen our relationship with existing Partners and bring new Partners to the MacKay Community
Peter’s combination of enterprise leadership experience and hands-on Forum facilitation uniquely positions him to support both our Chairs, Members and Partners.
