Who Our Speakers Are

They are curious, grounded, and comfortable facilitating dialogue with senior leaders. No. This is a non-paid speaking opportunity. Many speakers find it leads to consulting, referrals, and future speaking opportunities within the MacKay community.

Speakers are selected by Forum Chairs based on the current goals, challenges, and priorities of each Forum group. Topics are chosen intentionally to ensure relevance and maximize impact. MacKay Partners are given fast-tracked opportunities to speak at Forum Groups and Power Hours.

Successful speakers bring focused, practical insight grounded in real experience. They engage leaders through dialogue, examples, and reflection, rather than presentations or theory-heavy content.

Most sessions are 60–90 minutes and are designed to encourage discussion and peer dialogue, not extended presentations.

Yes. Forum Chairs work with speakers in advance to ensure the topic and framing align with the group’s current context, goals, and level of experience.

No. The Forum environment is designed for learning and dialogue. Speakers are expected to share insight and experience without promoting products or services, though many members opt to engage with our speakers.

Highly specific, timely topics tied to real CEO and executive challenges tend to resonate most. Broad or generic leadership topics are less effective.

Forum groups are composed of experienced CEOs, Executives, and Business Owners from non-competing industries who value confidentiality, candour, and practical learning.

With over 700 Forum meetings annually across Canada, speakers may be invited to present to multiple groups over time, depending on relevance, fit, and feedback.
