Peter Aceto Appointed as Strategic Advisor and Toronto Forum Chair

We’re pleased to announce that Peter Aceto, accomplished CEO, fintech leader, and experienced board director, has joined MacKay CEO Forums as Strategic Advisor and Toronto Forum Chair. 

Peter brings decades of executive leadership experience building and scaling high-performance organizations across Canada’s financial services and technology sectors. Widely recognized for his people-first leadership approach and ability to drive growth through innovation and culture, he has held senior leadership roles including President and CEO of Tangerine Bank and Chief Executive Officer of ING Direct Canada, where he led one of the country’s most successful digital banking transformations. 

Throughout his career, Peter has been known for fostering strong leadership communities and empowering executives to navigate complexity, accelerate growth, and lead with clarity. His experience guiding organizations through transformation and change aligns closely with MacKay CEO Forums’ mission of supporting CEOs through confidential peer learning and leadership development. 

Over the next six months, Peter will focus on expanding MacKay CEO Forums’ presence in Ontario by launching and building two new CEO Forums while advancing business development initiatives that strengthen member growth and engagement across the region.
