Meet Joe Oswald
Joe Oswald is an Executive Coach who believes in the importance of creating one’s own future. In his view, success requires a combination of strategic thinking and intentional action. He has firsthand experience leading a team of over 250 professionals through the global pandemic and making a mid-career pivot to pursue a new path.
As an experienced global President, Joe understands the value of strong leadership. He specializes in helping individuals develop energized, highly engaged teams that are focused on achieving organizational goals.
What sets Joe apart is his extensive lived experience. Over the past decade, he has gained perspective from both sides of the table—serving as a President striving to build high-performing teams and as an executive in transition who leveraged coaching to redefine his career. Now, as a certified coach, he helps leaders set ambitious goals and provides the support they need to navigate challenges effectively.
Joe is the Founder and Principal of Beyond SQ, a firm dedicated to challenging leaders to move beyond the status quo and achieve more than they thought possible. He builds trust with his clients and helps them navigate the complexities of leadership. With an engineering background and experience across multiple industries—including IT, telecom, professional services, AI, manufacturing, and hospitality—he brings a diverse and informed perspective to his coaching practice.
His leadership style is both authentic and visionary, resulting in significant profitability, strong client satisfaction, and high employee engagement. Passionate about helping individuals expand and grow, he employs proven tools and techniques to unlock their full potential.

While earning his Executive MBA in Innovation Leadership, John recognized that many organizations overlook key opportunities to reduce costs without sacrificing quality. That insight drives his mission today—to help businesses and organizations become more efficient, strategic, and resilient.
