Richard is a CPA, CA and brings more than 25 years of senior business leadership experience in both private and public growing firms. As the Chief Financial Officer for Mackay CEO Forums, Richard looks after all aspects of Finance and Administration for the firm.
Richard’s prior experience includes roles as both CEO and CFO in the manufacturing, construction, real estate, professional services, distribution, and cannabis industries.
Richard’s mantra is that while accurate and timely data is absolutely required for growing firms, it is how the firm’s leadership uses that data and collaborates with all stakeholders that ultimately leads to success.
Richard and his wife, Marianna, reside in Kelowna, BC. Their two adult children have achieved their own successes and reside in Alberta.
As the Chief Financial Officer for MacKay CEO Forums, Richard looks after all aspects of Finance and Administration for the firm. Richard also participates in Advisory Board meetings as the firm’s senior finance officer.
Supported by a team of 2, they oversee accounting, member management, information technology, payroll, banking and treasury, risk management, budgeting and forecasts, contracts and agreements, policies and procedures, and generally all administrative matters.
