Dennis Fortnum

Dennis Fortnum is the former Global Chairman for KPMG Enterprise and the Canadian Managing Partner for KPMG Enterprise.

He has extensive experience helping private companies and their owners build great businesses. From strategic planning to exit strategies, including sale, succession or IPO, Dennis has assisted many of Canada’s leading entrepreneurs build value in their businesses and ultimately realize that value.
Dennis has more than 40 years of experience providing Acquisition, Finance and Business Advisory services to a wide range of private companies and family businesses. His unique blend of executive, board and entrepreneurial experiences continues to contribute to the success of many growing and transitioning companies.
In his spare time Dennis enjoys playing hockey, golf, fly fishing, time at the cottage with his family, traveling and helping those less fortunate in the community. Dennis has held executive and board positions with many charitable organizations including The Children’s Wish Foundation, Hockey with Heart, Sheena’s Place and the Markham Stouffville Hospital and was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his dedication and commitment to his community.
