Gary brings his 35+ years of experience in a variety of roles including CEO, COO / EVP / VP Operations / Engineering / Procurement/Supply Chain in high growth and established companies and is focused on helping Manufacturing companies achieve superior top-line and bottom-line performance. Prior to consulting, Gary spent 5+ years as CEO of the Industry Training Authority (ITA).
This organization runs the apprenticeship system for all skilled trades training for BC. Before ITA, Gary spent many years in various manufacturing companies in both ON & BC, with 19 years in executive roles. These companies had annual revenues up to $400M+. The products included auto parts, railway trackwork, agricultural equipment, steelmaking, and large capital projects for mining, oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, pulp & paper, marine and clean energy sectors. Gary’s specialties include Executive Leadership, Operational Excellence and Management Development. He is a certified Tool & Die Maker and Die Sinker (forging), Certified Manufacturing Engineer, MBA and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).
