Bio

Tim’s energetic approach to coaching focusses on creating accountability throughout all aspects of an organization by concentrating on both data analysis and attention to his five pillars of leadership, which include: generosity, vulnerability, servanthood, candor and courage. Much of Tim’s coaching style is attributed to his training as a Certified Speaker, Coach and Trainer with the John Maxwell Team. Tim holds a BBA with a double major in accounting and marketing from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC. Prior to becoming a partner with JAK’S Beer Wine & Spirits, Tim spent time in sales with Frito Lay Canada, in public accounting with both BME + Partners and Ernst & Young, LLP in Vancouver and in various levels of hospitality management.

Outside of the business world, Tim can be found on the field coaching soccer and football. While much of Tim’s leadership style can be traced to his roots in the retail and hospitality industries, he accredits a great deal of his leadership development to his involvement in amateur athletics, especially football; as a player on his highschool and university teams, and as a coach with SFU, Terry Fox High School in Port Coquitlam, BC and with the BCJFL’s Westshore Rebels in Victoria, BC. Tim and his wife, Stephanie, reside in Tsawwassen, BC; just outside of Vancouver, with their six children.
