Bio
Steve brings more than 40 years of leadership experience to his role as MacKay CEO Forums Chair. After 11 years at a major international accounting firm as a tax advisor, Steve moved to a financial services company, eventually becoming CFO for the organization which featured 17 subsidiaries and $250 million of annual revenue. During that time, Steve supported several business acquisitions and an IPO.
In the last decade of his career Steve was CEO of a portfolio management and financial planning company managing more than $3 billion of client assets mainly for owner-manager businesses in Canada.
Steve is a big believer in the value of CEO peer groups, having participated as a member of one in Ottawa for more than a decade. He has seen the positive impacts on CEOs and their companies and enjoyed the benefits himself as a leader. Steve was called out of retirement and asked to Chair his former peer group.

Meeting Locations
Steve’s forum group meets 7 times per year. Each member hosts the meeting at their preferred location, which is hosted within the Greater Ottawa Area.
