    Bio

    Ron Monk is a seasoned business executive and Professional Engineer with more than 30 years of experience building high-performing organizations.   Ron’s passion is working with his MacKay CEO Forum members to be amazing leaders for their organizations. Ron was Board Chair, Director, and Principal of Kerr Wood Leidal Associates Ltd (KWL).  Ron is Principal Emeritus and Energy and Water Resources Specialist with KWL.  Ron initiated and led KWL’s Energy Sector for fifteen years.  

    Ron held senior roles with BC Hydro, leading Energy Planning, Rates and Metering Strategy, Distribution Operations (fill in for leave), Sustainability (including climate change strategy), Research and Development, and Strategic Planning.  As Strategic Planning Manager, Ron had key roles in developing and implementing the transformational strategy leading to BC Hydro’s focus on clean power and energy efficiency.

    Ron is deeply passionate about helping people and organizations move forward. He coaches CEOs and helps leadership teams level up their performance.

    Meeting Locations

    Ron’s forum group meets 7 times per year. Each member hosts the meeting at their preferred location, which is hosted within the Greater Vancouver Area.

    Ron’s CEO Forum is focused on infrastructure. Forum members lead organizations in building construction, land development, mining, regulatory, transmission lines, transportation, and services for people with disabilities.
