Mike Johnston is the President and CEO of REDspace, a full-service digital studio based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, shares how they have become a business leader in attracting & retaining out of province talent.
Mike founded and has led REDspace for over 19 years. With his talented team comprised of over 200 full-time employees, REDspace creates award-winning web, mobile, video and gaming experiences for its global partners including Turner, Viacom, Sony Pictures, IBM and NBC Universal.
Mike began his IT career in Boston after graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University. Passionate about education and inspiring the next generation of innovators, Mike is the founding president of the Harvard Club of Atlantic Canada and currently serves as Interview Chair. He is also a National Interview Chair for the prestigious Loran scholarship and a NSCC IT Program Advisory Committee member.
